The Conno|sior Exhibit has introduced a range of breathtaking interiors that redefine luxury. One of the installations, Glamwork Space, was a home office vignette: a stunning blend of function and style that embodied the elegance of Hollywood glamour with the practicality of modern workspaces.
A collaboration between Mav Furniture, M Décore, and IDr. Migs Alcid, PIID from SoFA Design Institute, the space combines classic sophistication with modern functionality, elevating the concept of a home office to new heights.
Hollywood Glam Meets Work-from-Home Efficiency
Glamwork Space draws inspiration from the golden age of Hollywood, incorporating the opulence, luxury, and glamour associated with that era. However, this isn’t just a space that’s pretty to look at—it’s also designed to meet the needs of today’s remote and often hybrid work culture. SoFA Design Institute's Interior Styling students, Alexandra Ang and Ryan Nicho Jago, have styled the exhibit to demonstrate how elegance and efficiency can coexist harmoniously, proving that a home office can be both an inspiring and productive environment.
At the heart of Glamwork Space is a carefully curated selection of Mav Furniture’s luxurious desks, chairs, and storage solutions. The furnishings, characterized by clean lines and sumptuous materials, offer both comfort and style, encouraging productivity without sacrificing aesthetic appeal. Paired with M Décore’s statement pieces, such as gold-accented lamps, plush textiles, and eye-catching décor, the space exudes the effortless charm of Hollywood glamour while being completely functional for a work environment.
A Luxe Palette for Productivity
The design of Glamwork Space is rooted in an achromatic color palette. Elegant hues—think black, gold, and white—are accented by metallic finishes and luxe textures, giving the room a sense of opulence and drama. The use of high-shine surfaces, plush fabrics, and bold patterns evokes the luxury of a Hollywood film set, making the space feel glamorous yet inviting.
